Kishor Adhikari is 6 years old and attends Dhruba Tara School, Dhulikel, Nepal. This school was rebuilt by SHIVA Charity, as the old school was falling apart and unsafe. However, fees are charged at the school, and Kishor's father (Krishna Adhikari) cannot afford them.

Monthly sponsorship of five pounds (ten US dollars) will pay for school fees, uniform and equipment and give Kishor a free education. Many parents pull their children out of school and put them to work. SHIVA Charity guarantees that this will not happen to sponsored children.
