Ashok Parajuli is 9 years old and lives near Dhaulagat, in a little village far away from the main road and all facilities. His father (Tej Parajuli) is a farm labourer, and most of the villagers are involved in farming.
In Nepal farm labourers earn about fifteen pounds (1800 rupees) a month, and often the children are taken out of schooling because parents cannot afford monthly fees, uniform, books or equipment. Please consider sponsoring Ashok. Five pounds (10 US dollars) per month will give him free education and a future at Jyamdi School, Nepal.
