Appeal N12: Sept 2006 answered by Bill and Sue Robinson and the people of South Lafford Parish. Jyamdi English Boarding School, near Dhaulaghat, Nepal, is a very poor rural school, in an old, unsafe building. |

Jyamdi School is a very old dilapidated building, with dark, small, classrooms, no library or toilets. They need a new building, and some financial support. A new building would have to be made of local materials, as it is difficult and costly to transport bricks and cement here. (The track from Dhaulaghat crosses a river, and is winding, steep, and narrow). It would cost three thousand pounds to make a new school, and toilets, and put these children in a safe learning environment. Can you/your organization help? |
